Finn O’Hara was born in London, England and raised in Inglewood, a small rural town north of Toronto.
After studying English Literature at Bishop’s University in Quebec he moved to Toronto, where he began his now- flourishing photographic career through working as an assistant to more established local and international photographers, but his first introduction to photography was through his father, a former Kodak employee.
Recent assignments have included a portrait assignment to Cambridge Bay, Nunavut, photographing teens for The Walrus magazine, and shooting stills & motion for Quark Expeditions in the Svalbard Islands, Eastern Greenland, and Iceland, aboard the Russian research vessel, the Akademik Shokalskiy.
Clients include Esquire, Fortune, The Guardian Weekend Magazine, Time, Wallpaper, The Walrus and Wired.
